ENGLISH MEDIUM PROGRAMMES

The University offers fully qualified and experienced teachers who teach the Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees entirely in English. All of the coursework material is provided in English, as are the assignments and exams.

Modules in Chinese language are a compulsory part of students’ degree and provide them with a unique opportunity to develop new skills. Students do not need prior Chinese language knowledge as you can study from beginner’s level Chinese

DUFE has two libraries, with a library on both the North and South campus, providing a comprehensive range of learning materials in both English and Chinese. As part of your orientation programme, you will be shown how to use the libraries and locate key resources.

Sports facilities

DALIAN

Dongbei University of Finance and Economics is located in the north-east of China in a city called Dalian. Dalian is only a 50 minute flight from Beijing and 2 hour flight from Shanghai. A centre for trade and finance, Dalian is one of China’s most prosperous cities, attracting top international companies such as Microsoft, Nokia, IBM, Intel and Accenture, as well as major banking , insurance and security companies. Dalian is also a popular tourist destination, with a mild climate, beautiful beaches and stunning coastal scenery.
